Frequently Asked Questions About UltraGrowth Tree Food
What does UltraGrowth Tree Food do?
UltraGrowth Tree Food helps to create a healthy soil for trees. It accomplishes this by changing the soil environment. Soil tends to become
more granular after treatment allowing roots to penetrate deeper. Existing soil minerals are chelated into an available form and are absorbed by
the growing roots. Beneficial soil microbes are encouraged to work deeper and further create additional nutrients. Trees respond by first
increasing root development and then shoot development.
What differences will I see?
First you should notice a darkening of the existing foliage. Throughout the season there will be a more than average plant growth. Depending
on the original size, genetics and overall environment, the trees may grow up to double their seasonal growth. Blossoms will increase if
application is done prior to growth period. Foliage on treated trees will exhibit more cold tolerance in the fall. Root development will be
increased which further establishes a more robust tree.
When should I see a response?
The additional nutrients cause above ground growth to occur between 3 and 5 weeks depending on the stress conditions the trees are in.
How do I apply UltraGrowth Tree Food?
UltraGrowth Tree Food comes in liquid form. The liquid is used with trees that have previously been established. The average 3 meter tree will
require 500ml of product that is applied through a root feeder at opposite sides of the tree at the tree drip line. Probes are directed towards
the tree at a 10-25 degree angle into the soil. Water is run through the root feeder for 10-15 minutes per side.
Is UltraGrowth Tree Food 100% organic,
and are there special handling issues?
Yes, the product is 100% organic and odorless. Trees cannot be harmed if more than the recommended dosage is applied.
Does it help to spray my trees with UltraGrowth?
Yes, use your regular liquid fertilizer applicator at the lowest setting and spray all foliage on trees and lawns.
How do I use UltraGrowth for transplanting trees?
